3D Starfield Screensaver
3D Starfield Screensaver is DirectX screensaver which shows spaceship flying through the stars.
This screensaver is inspired by well-known Starfield screensaver included in all Windows operative systems.
3D Starfield Screensaver is an improvement done by displaying animated spaceship on the screen and by making stars to follow the spaceship movements. 3D environment is simulated with 2D techniques due to excellent graphic and animation.
3D Starfield Screensaver belongs to screensavers that cannot be well depicted with screenshots and maybe better idea is to try it. It is shareware.
A modern PC running Windows 2000, XP (or newer) is required. After installation the program uses about 3 MB disk space. The program requires at least 65000 colors (high color, 16-bit). It requires at least 800x600 screen resolution. A 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 8 or higher and with at least 32 MB of video memory is required (preferable 64 MB). Also, a DirectX 8 compatible sound card is required. Make sure all graphics and sound card drivers are up to date. DirectX 8 or higher is required (not included). You can download the newest version of DirectX from the Microsoft website at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/
To install 3D Starfield Screensaver simply run 3DStarfield_12.exe and follow the on-screen instructions. You can install the software anywhere you like but it is best to follow the default suggestion given. Once installation is completed, in the Start menu you will find a new program group from which you can register the program or read the documentation.
You can uninstall 3D Starfield Screensaver with left-click on the Uninstall 3D Starfield shortcut that you can find in the Start menu.
The Software is password protected. You can use the Software free of charge. The unregistered version, though, has 5 min time limitation and shows textual notice when running. To unlock the additional features, remove textual message, and support the with further development of the software, you are strongly encouraged to register your copy of 3D Starfield Screensaver. Registration will add the following features:

Online Registration.
All the online transactions are made within secure SSL connection ensuring that you private data will remain confidential. Details can be found on the 3D Starfield Screensaver registration web site.
Additional way to register online is by running the Registration shortcut in the Start menu.
Once your registration has been received an e-mail will be sent to you with the password and information on how to enter the password in the program.
To enter the password, again choose Registration from the Start menu. Type the name and the password and press OK. If you made no mistakes the program is registered.
